The amount of exploring you can do in Turkey is endless and it is also easy to do.
It is easy to get around by using the 'Dolmus' bus or if you like some independence, you can hire a car.
Driving in Turkey is an experience, but the Turkish are generally very good drivers, and it is us westerners who make it look difficult!
You will find the Turkish hospitality welcoming at all times and you may even be lucky enough to get invited into a 'traditional' home for something to eat and some 'cay' (Turkish tea)
It is expected that once you taste the life in Turkey, you will want to continue doing so.
